China is a great country, we have a lot of architectural wonders of the world, for example the Great Wall, the Imperial Palace and so on …as one of the major citiesin China, Chengdu is also proud of her buildings… you may have heard about the Global center before you come to China for your internship. You can finally check it out by yourself as you are living this amazing city now.

The New Century Global Centre opened in 2013.It’s the world’s largest free standing buildingsand one of the main attractions of Chengdu. This is a huge glass structure of 1. 7 million square meters of ocean theme around the 4 floor. It’s a paradise for professional, amateur shopper lovers. Extra wide walkways with marble adorning the walls and floors witness to the grandness of this edifice topped with a wave shaped steel, and glass roof under which visitors can literally shop until they drop.

If you want to explore different types of food from all over the world during your internship – the Global Center 4’ floor is a good place to check out. There’s plenty of Asian, and Western style restaurants offering choices such as; Tax Mex, Vietnamese, American, Thai, and of course Chinese dishes, along with all the usual fast food favorites from around the world.

The ocean park

Another interesting place you cannot miss is the Paradise Island Water Park which isa fantastic theme park inside the Global Centre.It has 400 meters of man-made beach, amazing water slide, incredible wave pool and you can enjoy every fun filled resort activity there.
